Contact Management Reinvented with CardDAV and Kerio Connect
Thursday April 15, 2010 | 4:00PM CET
Managing contact lists can be a nightmare. Historically, individual users were not given permission to amend the corporate directory and were not able to access the directory on all of their computers and mobile devices, so users were forced to maintain multiple contact lists. Not any longer. Now with the introduction of CardDAV support in Kerio Connect, users no longer need to manage multiple contact lists. Contacts can now be stored on the server but accessed and edited on individual’s computers and mobile devices, allowing contacts to be synced on the go!
In this live webinar, Kerio Sales Engineer John Jones, will discuss how CardDAV can enable users to modify contact information and add new contact fields without having to modify LDAP schema or get write access to the corporate directory server. Mark will demonstrate how you can synchronise to Apple Address book without plug-ins, and that changes are published almost immediately. This will be an interactive session, so questions are always encouraged.
